Program Overview
Accounting introduces students to basic concepts, fundamentals and skills necessary to plan, record, analyze and interpret financial information such as: career awareness, forms of ownership (proprietorships, partnerships, corporations), analyzing transactions, journalizing transactions, posting, cash controls, financial statements, and adjusting and closing entries. This course provides a basic, introductory awareness, and understanding of the language of business.
