Program Overview
In the Animal Science program, you will learn to safely work with animals. The program combines the classroom learning with authentic laboratory experiences with a variety of animals in which you will learn: basic and advanced care, agricultural animal use including equine (horses), medical evaluation and optimal habitat design that enable animals to thrive. Upon completing the program you may complete further education to become a veterinary assistants and/or laboratory animal caretaker, zoologists and wildlife biologist, or a veterinary technologist and technician.
